Executive CV

A three-page brand artefact disguised as a curriculum vitae.

Live spec

When to use it

  • Major executive appointments.
  • International roles.
  • Board chair searches.
  • Significant non-executive director roles.

When NOT to use it

  • Standard role applications · lighter CV suffices.
  • Without a specific role context · use the Capability Statement (19).

When this format is right

When the recipient is going to assess Nicole as a candidate at the highest level. The CV needs to do brand work, not just list jobs.

Canonical reference

ECF CEO Application Executive CV · June 2026 · canonical reference.

Three-page structure

  • Page 1: Cover · name, positioning paragraph, current focus
  • Page 2: Achievements + Leadership Roles
  • Page 3: Practice + Portfolio + Credentials

Variation

Variations are in positioning language and choice of content, not style. The visual template is the same.

The DNA

Three pages, A4 portrait. Generous white space. Cormorant Garamond for name + section heads. Tenor Sans for body. Navy + gold + cream. No photos.

The pair

The Executive CV pairs with the Statement of Suitability (24). Together they form the application package.

Voice rules

  1. Brand artefact, not list. The reader sees who Nicole is, not just what she's done.
  2. Achievements with outcome. Not roles only.
  3. Positioning paragraph carries the package.
  4. Generous white space. The reader's attention is finite.

Production checklist

  1. Three pages exactly
  2. Positioning paragraph tailored to the role
  3. Achievements have outcome (not just title)
  4. Visual consistency with Statement of Suitability
  5. Filename: NicoleLockwood_ExecutiveCV_[Role]_[YYYYMMDD].pdf
